Curry Posh Pot Noodle

This is just a really cheap, really quick recipe. If you can even call it a recipe. I ‘cooked’ this meal a lot during my farm work. It doesn’t need a lot of ingredients and tastes great. Basically, it’s a curry posh pot noodle. Who doesn’t love a cheeky pot noodle?

Time: 5 mins

Cost: $1.85 per meal

– 1 pot noodle (75c pm)

– Pepperoni or Chorizo (50c pm)

– 1 cup of veg (30c pm)

– 1 tablespoon curry powder (30c pm)

Honestly, you’ll love this super quick noodle dish. To start, whack the veg in the microwave for 3 or 4 minutes. I used a handful of stir fry frozen veg, but you can add anything you like.

Then boil the kettle and pour into the pot noodle. I would add the flavor of my chosen pot noodle as well.

While waiting for the vegetables to cook put the pepperoni into a frying pan on a medium heat. When the vegetables are ready you can add them to the frying pan, followed by the contents of the pot noodle.

Give the mix a stir, then gradually add the curry powder to your liking. Give this another minute on the heat then pour the pan back into the original pot noodle cup.

Try the same recipe with chicken or maybe switch the curry powder for Chinese 5 spice. Add a hand full of cashew nuts or fresh salad to finish the dish off
